Arsenal is looking to strengthen their defensive line in a Juventus deal during the current summer transfer market, suffering from a major crisis at the center due to the Koscielny strike and the injury of Rob Holding in the knee.
According to the Metro newspaper, quoting Italian reports, Arsenal is interested in the inclusion of Daniele Rugani, defender of the old lady, who has reduced his chances of joining the team after signing Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt.
Rugani last season joined the Bianconeri in 20 games in various competitions, with an estimated current value of about 40 million euros.
The report noted that Arsenal is unlikely to be able to raise money and include Rugani on a final basis, and therefore will be resorted to on loan, but this will depend on the suitability of veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini, who is currently suffering from a calf injury.
Chelsea made a bid for Rugani last summer when he was led by Fania Maurizio Sarri, the current coach of the old lady, who trusts Rugani's talent, working together at Empoli.
